The Magnetic Solutions MATrSM offers a range of flexible setting magnet tools for process development and production. The tool is provided in three standard platforms with magnetic fields up to 10 Tesla (MATr10000-SM), 5 Tesla (MATr5000-SM) and 3 Tesla (MATr3000-SM). A closed cycle superconducting magnet provides a fully variable magnetic field in a compact package. Active magnetic shielding is used to minimize the mass and stray magnetic field footprint of the tool. It is suitable for installation of multiple units in close proximity for volume production or for installation in laboratory environments. The tool can supplied in a wide range of configurations suitable for different sample types (wafers, row bars, HGA, media platters). Product can be handled either as a batch process or via continuous feed. A range of options are provided that allow the customer to match their process needs and budget with the tool configuration. The tool is equipped with SEMI standard software that incorporates a touch screen operator interface, product bar code reader, data and event log recording, recipe management and multi level security access.
